Ripped from the home he has known all of his life, Sir Michael must take over the office that his father held before being banished by the king's arch-nemesis of a brother. He quickly finds himself on a mission to retrieve from that man one of his new Dogs that mysteriously became pregnant after going missing herself.

Trying to catch a stranger to his island, Sir Michael finds a strange canine, who he befriends and brings back to his shelter for the night. Sometime that night as he sleeps he is transported to the kingdom that his family was banished from before his birth.

Within the hour after he wakes he is informed that he must take over the post that his father had carried before he had been banished. During the celebration of his appointment one of his subjects goes missing and then when she is found, somehow she is pregnant. Days later Michael is on his way to face the king's arch-nemesis and defeat him for good. Unfortunately for him, the kings' arch-nemesis knows about his actions and sends out groups to intercept and deter Michael's forces.

After what remains of Michael's forces are freed, they find themselves forced to give chase and protect themselves along the way from hostile forces. Eventually the violence ends with a devastated and bloody capitol city.
